Games of the week

With conference play in full swing, we’ll highlight a handful of intra-league games worth watching:
(All times ET; AP rankings as of Monday morning)
Northern Iowa at Bradley, 6 p.m. Saturday (ESPN2): A rematch of last year’s Missouri Valley Conference tournament final, which Bradley won. These are the top two teams in the league, according to KenPom.com and NET. The bad news for the Braves: Leading scorer and rebounder Elijah Childs is out for at least a month after finger surgery.

The Mid-Major Top 10

4. Northern Iowa (14-2, 3-1 Missouri Valley): The loss at Illinois State to open conference play is looking more and more like a burp. The Panthers destroyed Missouri State, 80-57, on the road Saturday while going 13-of-22 on 3s. A.J. Green is averaging 25.3 points and has gone 17-of-31 (55 percent) from 3 in conference play. LW: 8
