Loyola is 3-0 and preseason all conference center Cameron Krutwig is off to a solid start. This week’s ‘Player of the Week‘ averaged 22 points and 6.5 rebounds during the Ramblers’ two victories. Krutwig is second to Southern Illinois’ Marcus Domask in the Valley scoring race (17.3 ppg) and leads the conference in field goal percentage (.667).

Green Bay transfer Shanquan “Tank” Hemphill scored 23 points against McKendree and added seven points, ten rebounds and a thunderous dunk in Drake’s win over Air Force. The 6’5 wing is this week’s ‘Newcomer of the Week‘. His .561 shooting percentage is second best to Krutwig in the MVC.
