Courvousier McCauley – Indiana State Sycamores

2022-23 stats: 16.9 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 1.2 spg

The DePaul transfer has found his home in the Missouri Valley, leading the 1st-place Sycamores in scoring. McCauley has had seven points in every single game, including a pair of 30-point efforts in wins over both North Dakota State and Miami (Oh). He’s a volume shooter as well, making 38% from three-point range on 7+ attempts a game.

Indiana State won just 11 games last year and already has 11 this season, as well as a 4-0 record in league play. The big reason for the improved play has been multiple impact transfers, with McCauley leading the way. And it’s a natural fit too, as the team ranks in the top 20 in three-pointers, led by the former Blue Demon.
