Utah Valley’s glass cleaner, UC Santa Barbara’s talent pool: This Week in Mid-Major--The Athletic
The Mid-Major Top 10
2. Loyola Chicago (21-4, 16-2 Missouri Valley): The Ramblers keep winning, and their metrics are magnificent. But we wouldn’t exactly say they’re making it look easy. Since the overtime loss at Drake, they’ve beaten Valparaiso by two, slipped by Southern Illinois by eight in the first game of a weekend series and then needed overtime to take Game 2 against the Salukis. Not exactly the dominance one would expect, but Loyola Chicago should safely be in the NCAA Tournament. A Valley tournament title could produce a very nice seed as well. LW: 3Dropped out: Drake, Western Kentucky

Missouri Valley
Title game: Sunday in St. Louis
The skinny: Round 3 of Loyola Chicago vs. Drake in the title game would be fun. But the Bulldogs are missing their two best players to foot injuries and look vulnerable to an early-round upset, as evidenced by their damaging loss to Bradley on Saturday.
TWMM pick: Loyola Chicago. But weird things happen at Arch Madness.
Spoiler: Valparaiso

-Drake suffered a damaging loss at Bradley. They’ll still have a shot at an at-large bid, but they’re not nearly as safe as they were before this loss.
