Conference Realignment Update 11/1: No, Conference USA isn't dead. Yet.--Extra Points
After the addition of Belmont, the MVC sits at 11 teams, and is expected to eventually add another public school. Potential candidates for that opening, I'm told, include Murray State, Texas-Arlington, and UMKC. I've had different sources tell me wildly divergent things about how close the conference is to adding any of these specific teams, or which teams are most likely to be added.
Once I know more about these leagues, or others that may potentially make changes in the near future, I promise I'll share it with all of you.
