Which undefeated men’s college basketball team will be the one last standing?--The Athletic
Right now, by my bad math, six undefeated teams are left: Baylor, Winthrop, Siena, Drake, Alabama A&M and Gonzaga. Let’s talk odds (our own, not Vegas) about who stays perfect the longest, and if any can stay undefeated all the way through April 5 (probably not Winthrop, but you never know). Gimme your lowdown.
Brian:Drake might not make it through early next week with two games at Missouri State. Dana Ford’s group doesn’t play elite defense, but it’s top 10 in adjusted field-goal percentage and therefore shoots it well enough to catch the Bulldogs once on a back-to-back. Either way, I don’t see Drake beating Loyola Chicago twice in a row, even at home, later in February.
